Against the Grain
Classically trained percussionist Jo May and guitarist Matt Sullivan will dazzle you with their stunning musical skills and exciting performances. Stirring the styles of West Africa, South America and Spain, Jo and Matt create an original blend of musical flavours to whet your appetite - from jazz tunes with spoons to original masterpieces on balafon, Cajun and flamenco guitar. Against the Grain enthral audiences everywhere including main stage gigs at Towersey, Broadstairs and Sidmouth festivals and, now, of course, Crowborough!

Many Crowborough Arts members know Gaye Jee as an organiser of events and producer of publicity materials and our newsletter. She has been producing fiction and drama for many years, and has written a series of monologues on the theme of transformation specially for this evening. Featuring popular performers from previous events, these short pieces range from the comedic to the chilling.
