Crowborough Arts has a stall at the Friends of Rotherfield and the Brook Surgery tomorrow. We've got lots of info about what we're up to, plus some cards for sale, generously donated by Crowborough Arts artists. All proceeds go to the Friends of the surgeries, so do support us ... and them!
So hot off the press, it hasn't even gone to press yet! But it is online, so click here to have a look at the latest newsletter.
We've just finished setting up the work of around half a dozen of our artists in the upstairs room of the Kings Arms, Rotherfield. This is part of their 'Jazz and Art' event, which kicks off tonight at 7.00. Do support this great local free event - and take your pocket money with you - there's bound to be something that takes your fancy! Thanks to Becky Haygarth for inviting us!
This is your last chance to get tickets for this coming Saturday's fab Murder Mystery evening! Table plans are being drawn up as we speak, and we can just about squeeze in around another handful of detectives. With some of the action taking place in the lovely gardens of the Kings Arms, and with the weather set fair this weekend, this is a great way to celebrate midsummer! Don't miss out - get your tickets now!
CA member Caroline Hobbs has two tickets for a coach outing to Rochester and Restoration House this coming Thursday (31st May). Unfortunately, due to illness, she is now not able to go, and so is offering the tickets to any member who would like them. Please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org if you're interested.
One of CA's good friends, soprano Alessandra Testai, is performing in a concert at St Denys' Church, Rotherfield on 29th June in aid of the church's heating fund. Don't miss it!
Mary used a Crowborough Arts bursary to take a course in printmaking at the renowned West Dean College. She's kindly agreed to speak about her experience on June 5th. For anyone who doesn't know her, Mary facilitates our portrait and life drawing sessions and is also leading CA artists at the Glorious Gardens weekend at Penshurst Place on June 2nd. Don't miss what promises to be a fascinating talk.
