Mary used a Crowborough Arts bursary to take a course in printmaking at the renowned West Dean College. She's kindly agreed to speak about her experience on June 5th. For anyone who doesn't know her, Mary facilitates our portrait and life drawing sessions and is also leading CA artists at the Glorious Gardens weekend at Penshurst Place on June 2nd. Don't miss what promises to be a fascinating talk.

Our all-singing, all-dancing fund-raising murder-mystery evening is only a few weeks away, and tickets are running out! We have only about 20 places remaining, so if you're intending to come along, do book quickly! Actually, there's no singing, or dancing, but we can guarantee lots of laughs and a twisty plot, all in the company of the eccentric Wyldboare family and their not-so-trusty retainers. A complimentary glass of fizz and a delicious supper are included in the price. What are you waiting for??

Don't the opportunity to meet a literary genius face-to-face! Rudyard Kipling himself (aka Geoff Hutchinson) will take us back to the year 1933 and relate tales from his eventful life through his books and verse. Geoff is a local historian and often portrays the author at the great man's Sussex home, Batemans. Geoff has a tremendous enthusiasm for local history and the colourful characters associated with it and has built a reputation as a lively and competent speaker. Informative, entertaining and moving.

Tickets are limited, so book soon!
